I came across this short by Double Impact VFX on CGtalk. Its dubbed in Spanish and the flares come on a little strong, but its pretty impressive–especially because the cars were modeled, textured, lit and animated by Joe Rodriguez in Lightwave, and the simulations were worked out in 3D Studio Max. Congratulations Joe!
